  Program Objectives

Graduates will be able to develop applications using object-oriented languages, to model and program databases using the Oracle multi-platform system, to develop management applications (in particular for the Web), and to take part in developing management information systems. They will also be prepared for the OCA (Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate) and OCP (Oracle Forms Developer Certified Professional) Oracle certification exams.


This program trains students to be proficient in:

developing Web applications using Oracle tools.
building applications using object-oriented languages (Java or Oracle tools).
creating, modelling and programming client/server and multilevel databases for various platforms.System)
administering SGBD/R ORACLE databases.

Prerequisites
• Collegial prerequisite: MAT-536 or equivalent.
• Adequate understanding of IT, and programming experience (C, C++, VB etc.).
• As per ministry of education criteria for ACS admission.
