Do you have a flair for fashion and a talent for making the right business decisions? The profession of buyer offers you the opportunity to express your sense of fashion and even influence future collections!

What exactly does a buyer do?


Choosing and buying clothing and accessories intended for a retail clientele from designers, manufacturers or wholesalers.
Using his or her flair for fashion, as well as knowledge of trends and the target market, to choose an ideal assortment of products.
Planning inventory and budgets so that an appropriate selection of products is always available in stores.
Analyzing the profitability of the products and making recommendations that will influence purchases and the lifecycle of products.


 
 

An ACS for a Buyer in the fashion industry will enable you to:
Analyze and predict trends
Conduct research and analysis with regard to consumers and the development of sales
Contribute to the process of product planning
Manage files with suppliers and sales representatives
Manage and keep track of the purchasing budget


As well, an internship in the wholesale trade will allow you to acquire the practical skills that are sought after by employers and, as a result, complete your training.

N.B.: The Buyer ACS is ideal for professionals in the industry (retail sector or other sectors of fashion) who wish to enter the wholesale trade market or move forward in the field of purchasing.
