Graduates will know how to use Cisco technologies to configure and troubleshoot LANs and WANs, and will be prepared for the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) exam.

This program is designed to train people to:

describe the OSI reference model for connecting open systems and layer-communication functions
explain and analyse LANs
identify, analyse and use various network protocols
explain the routing process and concomitant protocols
develop and install long-distance networks
develop and install wireless networks

Prerequisites
• Collegial prerequisite: MAT-536 or equivalent.
• Basic LAN practice and theory, and a fundamental
understanding of Cisco network administration.
• As per ministry of education criteria for ACS admission.
