Program Outline

The ACS in Media Communications and Publicity provides you with accelerated access to the exciting and creative world of communications!

This program prepares you for the various real-world needs of advertising firms and agencies currently recruiting.

During your training, you will be exposed to concepts in:


Marketing
Advertising communication strategies
The world of advertising
Mass media outlets (print, radio, television)
Specialised media
Magazines, cultural publications, Metro daily publications
The new technology market
Measurement tools such as PMB, BBM/Nielson, NASBANK and others

As a graduate, you will have the skills necessary to:

Contribute to the design and coordination of advertising campaigns and special events for an advertising agency or for the advertising client directly
Develop, organise and produce effective communications tools
Determine the best method for reaching a target market, whether through television or radio advertising, using the Internet or in print.
