For those who dream of the jet-set world of fashion shows and photo shoots, the Special Events ACS is an ideal choice!

This one-year program propels you directly to the heart of a completely glamorous and exciting environment; you will learn how to produce and promote special events from beginning to end, such as fashion shows, product launches and photo shoots.

Among other things, this training will allow you to practice two important facets of a fashion event: styling and public relations in fashion.

1. Styling

Encompasses all the visual elements that determine the atmosphere of a fashion show or photo shoot:

Clothing and accessories
Makeup, hair
Makeup, hair
Models

 
 

2. Public Relations in Fashion

Enables fashion companies and retail businesses to construct and maintain a favourable image with regard to the public.

As a public relations officer in the fashion industry, your mandate will also be to find creative ways of ensuring that your target clientele remembers a company's brand.

During your training, we will teach you how to:

Write press releases
Hold press conferences in order to make your news known


Special Project: Planning a Fashion Event

During this project, you will have the opportunity to experience all the facets of organizing a fashion event, under the supervision of a professional in the industry:

Marketing strategies
Styling
Public relations
Communication, research and choice of media
Choosing locations and planning the layout
Planning the budget, etc.
